50 Cent & G-Unit Reunite At 2014 Summer Jam

Well, after all the controversy of the fallout between 50 Cent and G-Unit, 50 bashing them in interviews, Young Buck saying he doesn’t know if he will ever back with G-Unit, Yayo saying a bunch of reckless things on Twitter and well, Banks being quite. Things have seem to be just a publicity stunt. Fans and various people were guessing there to be a G-Unit reunion and they were right. During Nas’ set performance he brought out 50 Cent to perform for Queens, then 50 Cent proceeded to perform ‘I Get Money’ and then chose to perform Lloyd Banks first hit ‘On Fire’, Banks came out and then the cat was out the hat. Yayo followed while surprisingly Buck followed. They performed their classic hits alongside 50 performing his single ‘Smoke’ with Trey Songz and various other ‘Animal Ambition’ cuts. Needless to say, it was a night for the history books. On top of all that, 50 Cent’s crew ran into Slowbucks while 50 Cent was performing on stage and reportedly robbed him of his chain due to the picture of Slowbucks with 50 Cent’s son that surfaced on Instagram. 50 Cent commented on that picture a couple of weeks back ‘This was a bad idea” and 50 made sure they got that message tonight at Summer Jam. On top of that, 50 ended up dissing Jimmy Iovine, getting at Ebro, bringing out Yo Gotti and Fabolous and much more. We will keep you guys updated when videos are available. In the meantime check out photo’s of the Slowbucks incident, Nas and 50 Cent performing together, Yo Gotti and 50 Cent performing, and much more.

UPDATE: We’ve added footage of Fabolous and 50 Cent premiering the ‘Cuffin Season’ remix track. On top of that Slowbucks gets stomped out by 50’s crew while the performance was happening. Check out the video after the jump.

Hopsin Performs In Iowa City (Knock Madness Tour)

Screen Shot 2014-02-18 at 1.30.29 AM

So Hopsin stopped by Iowa City on February 7th for his ‘Knock Madness Tour’ and I got a chance to catch the show. I missed the last time Hopsin stopped by Iowa City and was disappointed but I finally caught this one and boy was I glad I did. This had been the 2nd Funk Volume show I’ve been to, the last one was for Dizzy Wright and he did an amazing job so I was expecting the same. Hopsin did not only perform his hits with amazing energy but he also brought up 3 fans that were rappers to spit their rhymes when the record ‘Lunch Time Cypher’ came on. He also allowed a fan that knew the SwizZz’s verse from ‘How You Like Me Now’ to spit SwizZz’s verse which was also something I’ve never seen an artist do when performing. Overall the show was amazing and definitely worth the ticket. He performed various tracks from his new album ‘Knock Madness’ such as ‘The Fiends Are Knocking’, ‘Hop Is Back’, ‘Old Friend’ and much more. He also performed classic tracks from his ‘Raw’ album like ‘Sag My Pants’, ‘Trampoline’, ‘Nocturnal Rainbows’ and more. If you want to get a ticket for Hopsin’s ‘Knock Madness Tour’ click here. Check out video footage of Hopsin performing various tracks after the jump.
