We start out our list with MMG’s very own Meek Mill. This guy has managed to do a whole lot in 2011 from his “Dream Chasers” mixtape to his huge street bangers. You can find out why we placed him in the #10 spot after the jump.

- Signing to Rick Ross “Maybach Music Group”

- Releasing a successful mixtape “Dreamchasers” which was downloaded approximately over 500k times (Dat Piff Numbers)
Top Tracks:
- “Tupac Back” ft. Rick Ross
- “I’m A Boss” (Remix) ft. Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, T.I., Birdman, Lil Wayne & Swizz Beatz
- “House Party” ft. Young Chris
Whether you like Meek Mill or not it sure as hell is impossible to get away from his music. Meek Mill has managed to build a buzz without dropping his debut album. He first got dropped from Grand Hustle, after that he somehow dropped music and got signed by Rick Ross’s new label “Maybach Music Group”. After getting a second chance to prove himself Meek Mill personally wrote 2 street bangers for MMG’s first album “Self Made Vol.1″ and we know those tracks as “Tupac Back” and “I’m A Boss”. These tracks were written mainly by Meek Mill and handed to Rick Ross to put together his verse and add it on the tape. That shows that Meek doesn’t have to rely on Rick Ross to make his own successful tracks. On top of all this buzz from these singles he won the “Best New Artist” award at the Sucker Free Awards, Made XXL’s freshman list, and released a highly successful mixtape entitled “Dreamchasers”. After the mixtape become such a huge success he even managed to ink a deal with Ecko to drop his “Dream Chasers” clothing line. At the end he did all of this in 2011 without even dropping an album, that alone get’s him the #10 spot on DHH’s Top MC’s of 2011 list.
