You get one hit song called “Donald Trump” and all of a sudden your the next Eminem? Not in my book your not.
I don’t know where to start off with this guy, Blue Slide Park hasn’t managed to even pull one song that has landed on the Billboard Hot 100 not to mention this guy can’t rap to save his life. Only reason he’s hot is these weed smokers can relate to him, Wiz Khalifa managed to get a good buzz off it but at least he switched it up. I mean this white boy has no clue what lane he’s getting in to, I honestly see no ounce of talent in this guy. He acts like a moron in his videos and I thought he was doing it just for fun, based off his music it seems like it isn’t just fun, it’s really how he is.
Forget the hate though, let’s focus on the main point of all this, Not 1 song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and you guys call this guy a good rapper? Even Lil B managed to at least chart his smash hit “I’m Gay”. That’s sad that a rapper like Mac Miller who is so called a “Good” rapper can’t manage to pull tricks from his hat.
No hit songs, and he will manage to push a good amount of album sales more then likely because these weed smokers don’t care about hits, the only thing they care about is whether they can smoke to the track or not and that’s where Mac fails. His audience sucks as far as music goes and if this is the direction Hip-Hop is going to take, don’t expect me to listen to it anymore or yet even blog about it because it’s making me sick.
Let’s see if he can save himself after his album drops then maybe, just maybe he might get a hit on his hands after the album release, but until then his buzz will eventually die out and become Asher Roth a one hit wonder. These “White” rappers need to step they’re game up, they making Eminem look bad. Miller take your ass down the 8 Mile road then maybe you will learn something, until then, your wack and will forever remain that.

My point about the numbers was simply that Mac Miller doesn’t deserve to be in Flop City since 1) His album had no pushbacks, 2) He’s projected to break 100K in sales, therefore not FLOPPING. Quake completely abandoned the original idea of Flop City on this post and just vented about how much he hates Mac, despite the fact the Mac will do the opposite of flopping since his album is number 1 on iTunes and his presale numbers will likely outdo Tech N9ne’s first week numbers. I’m not even a big Mac Miller fan, I have less than 10 songs by him on my computer. I just don’t see how Mac fits into Flop City when he is gonna sell outrageous numbers for an independent artist. To clarify, I never once said that Mac Miller is a better rapper than Tech N9ne, Tech is clearly out of his league. Btw Aaron Rodgers is better than Marino ever was, hes got a RING and his team has a legit chance at going undefeated this year, barring a major injury to Rodgers, Jennings, Mathews, or Woodson. Whack Miller blows. All of his songs are basically a repetition of ‘smoke weed erryday’ and rappers can only pull those kind of lyrics out of their asses for so long before it gets boring, which is usually pretty damn quick. Mac Miller’s lyrics are the rap equivalent of jr high kids talking about getting high to try to make themselves appear cool. Crappy lyrics aside, none of his songs are catchy (everyone’s guilty of liking a few catchy songs with shit lyrics), and personally I find his voice terribly annoying.
And I love how when anybody says something negative about Mac Miller, the only thing his fans ever have to say back is “ohh ur just jealous cuz hes famous and ur not!” Yeah, because that’s the only reason any person has ever disliked a musician. Dick ride’s over, hop off kids.

Mac Miller doesn’t not rap only about weed. In his more recent songs almost none talk about weed. He doesn’t rap for the money, he raps because its what he loves to do. Just because you don’t like him doesn’t mean he is bad. I personally love his album Blue Slide Park. I have been listening to him for almost 4 years now and still love his music just as much. Alot of his lyrics are actually positive, saying to appreciate living, and everything you have in your life. He just turned 21 and still hangs out with his childhood friends and visits home as much as possible. He is still young and just wants to have fun and live his life the way he wants. Everyone’s style is different, I don’t like Eminem, Asher Roth, or Wiz Khalifa at all. It’s nothing against them I just don’t like their music for some reason. I respect your opinion, but he doesn’t deserve to be on here.
