In 2007, you were making money and having fun but in 2008 you got dropped from G-Unit and ever since then you haven’t managed to drop an album, create a buzz, or to even get Record Labels to notice you, you first owe 50 Cent 250,000, then the IRS took your house, you ran from the cops, and now you got more troubles with your former label G-Unit Records, you thought you could make it big after leaving G-Unit, you thought you would be like Game and make a hit album after leaving G-Unit, but no you ended up going broke and now 50′s laughing in your face and Game ain’t even messing with you no more, hell even Game has lost a few millions but he ain’t in a hole like you, Yayo is banking in more money then you, just goes to show how far loyalty takes you, anyways I’m done talking about Buck and his financial issues, let’s get down to why he’s on Flop City because of the Music!
I know you guys are asking, where the hell has this guy been? same thing I’m asking, he released an album called “Rehab” but the thing only sold 5,000 copies, so nobody knew about it, I did, but I didn’t buy it, not only has he never had a hit since 2007 but he hasn’t managed to keep releasing albums, and I don’t think he will be able to do that, he is releasing mixtape’s in the hope of trying to get a buzz off them, don’t get me wrong he has some hot tracks on those mixtapes, but mixtapes don’t exactly pay the bills.
He hasn’t had a song chart at all, and he has fell off the face of the earth, ever since he left G-Unit the guy has had money issue’s, even 50 said he had a bad habit of spending his money like crazy he even spent money that he didn’t have just to show off, record labels aren’t hitting him up, and even Game won’t talk to him, he keeps getting beats from the same producer (Drumma Boy) and it’s getting old, I wish he would somehow figure out a way to pay 50 Cent back and get him on good terms with 50.

Let’s face it though, every former and member of G-Unit has done bad, 50 Cent hasn’t managed to get a HUGE hit in awhile, Game hasn’t managed to even chart or make a hit, Buck…well you guys know, Yayo…ehhhhh you guys know and well Lloyd Banks seems to be the only one that is actually hot right now, other then that, I hope Young Buck drops a new album and get’s some huge hits on it and get’s his life back together.
Let me know what you guys think, will he drop another album and get good sales from it and actually manage to chart, or will he not drop another album because of the bad G-Unit contract he is stuck in?
That was a balanced article lol, not. In a climate where aggressive hiphop is not selling. Buck sold more on his mixtape than people sell on their albums and as for Banks being hot, he had modest success with his album.
well hip hop is selling, I mean if your good and people like your music they will buy it, and banks is hot, despite his album sales, which was messed up by the record label EMI, they under shipped the album and he was independent when dropping that album. Banks also is charting higher then Game on the charts right now and the track’s Game has on the charts on Album Singles…banks released a random track and it’s higher then Game’s singles…that shows that Banks is hot.
According to you Game is a flop too so Banks beating him on the charts proves nothing.
you are being to hard on Buck. you know 50 cent is still holding onto bucks contract so he cant get a new label. he has one album left on his g-unit contract but 50 wont let him do it. so its not his fault
Actually G-Unit is suing Young Buck BECAUSE he hasn’t dropped an album, it’s Buck’s fault, if he wants to get big he needs to work on his album, he needs to make some hits.
You need to end this flop city series. Let’s name some of the notable people on it, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Akon. How about you focus on people who are actually flops instead of people who were big and haven’t had a hit in a while. You expect everyone to have a 15 year career and always be producing hits, otherwise they’re flopping, ridiculous.

Actually Buck can release albums, he released “The Rehab” which is his third album, 50 will allow him to drop albums so Buck can eventually buy 50′s contract out, the only thing 50 is stopping Buck from doing is leaving his contract and signing to other labels, the whole point of Flop City is for the artist to make a hit and get out of it, so if he does then it’s all good, even if he has more money then me it doesn’t matter because usually if your famous you SHOULD have a lot of money, I’m not famous so if I was broke it wouldn’t matter but if your famous and have sold lots of albums like Buck has and still managed to be broke then something is wrong that’s why I pointed it out. I’m NOT hating either.
Regardless, he (Young Buck) made a business decision to sign with G-Unit Records nobody made him sign that was at his own free will. What hurt him the most was the way he decided to blow through his earnings, suppose he did not buy the cars,expensive jewelry, high taxed property, and misc. I am sure he could have easily bought out of the remainder of his contract. Now five years ago if this happened and there was not a drop in record sales & no economy slide a couple labels would have been willing to help pick up his contract but he would definitely not be profiting 5-10 Million a year. That’s the thing with these guys they get upset sound off and put them selves in harms way.
