Last time it was Game, now it’s time for Weezy. Remember it’s my opinion and if you don’t agree, then comment, don’t diss, just voice your opinion. I think I’m going to explain myself on this a lot because it’s not HATE against any rapper. Now that I’ve said that, Read about it after the jump.
We all know how good candy is, but when you have to much of it, it eventually get’s sickening, and well that’s the same situation with Lil Wayne, we got too much of him and in my opinion, it’s his downfall. Weezy is constantly everywhere, I thought since he went to jail, we wouldn’t get him for 1 year, but I was wrong, we got music videos from him and an album, it just seems like he’s everywhere and it’s getting annoying. I liked him in 2008, sort of in 2009, but in 2010 and beyond that’s when I started to get really annoyed with him, not only is he on every single track, but he constantly releases material, and the public might like that at first, but once the quality in the material goes down, people get sick of him.
I bet most of you are wondering, what does him being everywhere have to do with Flop City, isn’t it a good thing that he’s consistent? well like I said referring to the candy thing, we are getting him too much, and that has caused him to have flop singles, and constantly getting his albums pushed back.
One example is “Rebirth” the first attempt at doing a rock album for Weezy, first of all, stay in your lane Wayne, your not the god of music, you can’t just jump to every genre and do good, your in Hip Hop, please STAY their and try not to infer with the people that are actually good at Rock and other genre’s. The album got pushed back a lot and he managed to get not 1 hit song from the actual album, and to put Eminem in a “Rock” album is just mad stupid. His image even got worse considering that album “flopped” and he started dressing like a fucking skater, with his skinny jeans and all them piercings on his face.
Advice for Weezy, cut them damn dreads man, you look like a damn gorilla, does he even clean them damn things? they probably stink too, at least TRIM them, I just don’t understand how you can have those dreads for so long.
Now back to his career, Carter IV has been hyped up for awhile now, ever since the success of Carter III, Weezy has promised C4 for awhile now, saying it will drop on a date, but then it gets pushed back farther then LeBron James hairline, Weezy just drop the damn album, It clearly shows that you can’t make hits, I will be surprised if “How To Love” does good, 6’7 and John both flopped and should NOT be on the album, or just put them as bonus tracks. The public clearly doesn’t like his music like they use to, he will NEVER, mark my words, NEVER sell a million copies again, that is a RARE moment for every rapper that has done it and it hasn’t happened twice, only for Eminem has, and if he does it twice then that’s saying a lot, but it will never happen, so him over hyping the album is just a waste of his time, he should drop it and let the public decide if it will even compare to C3.
Him signing Nicki Minaj & Drake is the best thing he’s done in his whole career, if it wasn’t for them, Young Money would be dead and that’s a fact, whether you believe it or not, it’s the truth, the public has switched on to different rappers, like the public always does, one day Weezy’s hot, the next Wiz Khalifa is.
Tell ya boy, Birdman to stop kissing you too, that shit is homo, I don’t care if he his your father or not, cut the shit out, also tell Birdman to switch up his lyrics, money, money, money is all I hear from this Dragon Ball head looking muthaf**ka.

rebirth was an experimental album that leaked more then a month in advance and still sold about 600,000, which is great for those conditions. he also released i am not a human being, with one single, one video, and barely any promotion, which sold about 900,000. his last three singles came with rarely any promotion at all as well, 6 ft 7ft, how to love was talked about prior to their release, while john came out of nowhere. apparently everybody wants him on their songs since hes always on features.
also eminem has gotten soft. he used to rap about killing people, but now he raps about how much he loves kim. and recovery was the biggest piece of shit ever. it either had him singing or so pop feature singing. he is slowly turning into a pop artist. the real reason he started making music again is that kim sucked his ass dry of money.

Well I like Weezy a lot (old music better than new music.) It seems more that he’s changed things with the mainstream sorta view. i gotta agree and disagree with this post. i think wayne has gone down in quality in his recent songs but his verses on the features hes on are still sick showin he still got it. he just needs to get better producers and get his old swag/flow back. in an interview he said he wants to change what he says so that people dont just like how the music sounds but he wants them to listen to the words he says. that may affect the way people listen to him now. either way i respect ppls opinion and thats just quakes. i still think hes one of the greatest and if the carter IV ever comes out i promise it will sell at LEAST a mill the first week ur wrong on that hes got too much of a following

He is over rated in my mind. Some of his raps are very senseless minded. But there are some pretty dope tracks. None the less he is aging and has not been producing much. He has made plans to retire after another album or two. After, he will be more of a “featured artist” and help his label grow. Drake seems to have the spotlight right now so when Wayne goes Drake has next.
